prokemfoods.co.uk is operated by Prokem Afro Caribbean Foods Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17015986). Registered office: 47 Church Street, Preston, PR1 3DH.
Using the site
You may use the site for lawful, personal shopping. You must be 18 or over to create an account or place an order. Don't misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation.
Orders & contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send a confirmation email. If a product becomes unavailable or is priced incorrectly we may cancel and refund in full.
Pricing & payment
Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged at checkout — there is no free delivery and no minimum order. Payment is taken at the point of order.
Delivery
We deliver across the UK. Estimated times are shown at checkout and on the Delivery page. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.
Returns & cancellations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel non-perishable items within 14 days of receipt. Fresh, frozen and other perishable goods are exempt unless faulty. Email hello@prokemfoods.co.uk to start a return.
Faulty goods
If anything arrives damaged or unfit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and your order number and we'll refund or replace.
Allergens & product info
We take care to describe products accurately, but always check the packaging for the most up-to-date allergen and ingredient information before consumption.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Otherwise our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date your order is placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
